It got so COLD here last night! I can't seem to get warm today, either...I'm about ready to search for my electric throw blanket, which I don't think I've used more than once or twice since we moved to Virginia. My feet are frozen!
The kicker? It's 37 degrees outside. I mean, that's cold, but not really COLD. Unless you're a transplanted Northerner who's become a weather wussy. Like me.

I am COLD today too -- I think it's just the shock of the cold after a pretty mild autumn. I can't get used to being COLD!
As for the thin mints in the brownie recipe--those were just supermarket house brand mints! Any kind works. Something like Andes or After 8s probably don't have enough "goo" inside to turn out the same way, but they would probably be delish also, just different.

Boy, you are a wuss - it was 17 here this morning with a stiff wind, and my face actually hurt when I came in after walking the dog. But those journal pages are looking great. I should do this. (Next year.)
