Word for the year.

The much-revered Ali E. has a question on her blog about what one word you would choose to sum up what you want to focus on in 2009.

The word I picked is "pursue." I spent way too much of 2008 sitting on my keister waiting for things to happen. This year I am going to pursue the things I want for myself. (Right now I want to pursue a good cough remedy and a lengthy neck massage!)

What's your word?

Last year my word was STRIVE. It seems a lot like pursue to me. I think you'll love your word. I did! I haven't figured out what this year's word is yet. I think it will be something like DILIGENCE. Thanks for the reminder!

Chiara reminded me of this (although I still need to go check out her blog). I have not yet decided upon my word. :)

I hope you have a wonderful 2009 & your PURSUITS give you an amazing set of memories & accomplishments!

Maybe you want to pursue a hot toddy?

I've thought about this quite a bit. I've decided that SIMPLIFY is my word for this year. Simplifying everything...my home, my finances, my personal life. I've already done a lot of that in 2008, but I still have work to do. Less stuff, less bills, less drama...how can any of that be bad?
